Box Officer Manager

What do you actually do?

I'm in charge of overseeing all ticket sales and looking after the Box Office staff as well as making sure all our customers are well looked after.

How long have you been working at Chichester Festival Theatre?

14 years now.

And what is it that you like about the Theatre in particular?

I love the thrust stage and the way the auditorium looks, especially when it's full.  The park setting is great, particularly in the summer. You can see the best quality theatre in what feels like the countryside.

What advice would you give to someone making their first steps into the world of work?

Keep an open mind. Try as many things as you can and make sure you try everything once.

As we come towards the end of the year, what would you look back on as your highlight for 2006?

Without a doubt, the phenomenal success the theatre has had this year. The new directors have brought fresh energy with them which has changed the atmosphere for the better.

And what are you looking forward to in 2007?
