Jonathan Truscott
Studied violin with Itzhak Rashkovsky and Eszter Boda Katona, furthering his studies with Ferdinand Kozak in Transylvania.
He performed with the Targu-Mures Philharmonic Stage Orchestra for two years touring both East and West Europe then moved to Holland to play in the orchestra for The Phantom of the Opera. Since returning to the UK he has worked mainly as a session musician, a chamber player and as Leader of the Bergersen String Quartet which specialises in performing and recording contemporary composers. He has also played with the Guy Barker Orchestra for Paloma Faith and George Michael from X-Factor and has regularly taken part in the Jazz Voices Festival at the Barbican.
