Here's what recent workshop attendees had to say:

"I thought the training was excellent, it was enjoyable, informative and very applyable."

"Since the pandemic, I've felt as though I've become more introverted; and in the few days since the workshop, I've felt a lot more confident holding work and social conversations and contributing to group discussions."

About our practitioner

Louise Rigglesford (she/they) has worked at CFT since 2012, after graduating from The Central School of Speech and Drama with a degree in Drama, Applied Theatre and Education. As Senior Community and Outreach Manager, she oversees the Community strand of the LEAP department, splitting her time between Project Management, Facilitation of workshops and directing small scale community performances. During her time at the theatre, she has been spearheaded numerous impactful projects which include: the CFT Buddies Scheme; FestivALL – an annual two-day festival of work performed by adults with additional needs; and the Three Trees Company - a group run at The Chichester Centre for adults in recovery from mental illnesses.

Louise has a particular passion for making co-created devised work with non-professional performers. She believes that theatre can and should be for everyone, regardless of background or experience, and that the skills that theatre teaches can have a far-reaching benefit beyond the rehearsal room.
