The Theatre Green Book gives theatre a path towards sustainability. It’s all about transitioning to a circular supply chain for making theatre. Because the more we reuse and recycle, the less carbon we create. To meet Theatre Green Book basic standards, at least 50% of materials used in the show (costumes, props, set) should be sourced from reused or recycled materials and at least 65% should go on to be reused or stored for future use.

In Festival 2024, we are on target for all our Minerva Theatre shows to meet baseline standards, in addition to Redlands and Cinderella in the Festival Theatre.
