We are looking for practitioners and freelancers with a technical or design background to deliver technical and creative workshops to our Technical Youth Theatre groups. 

The purpose of the role is to facilitate engaging and interactive sessions for young people that will inspire participants to explore their interest in all areas of technical theatre, creative design and/or theatrecraft across all backstage disciplines. 

The LEAP team, where this role sits, creates and delivers a year-round programme of practical workshops, projects and events engaging all ages, abilities and backgrounds across West Sussex. LEAP operates under two key strands: Children and Young People and Adults in the Community. Our aims are to promote inclusivity, accessibility and diversity, enabling opportunities for everyone, and to provide a vibrant range of activities which develop creative, personal and social skills.

Selected individuals will be invited to Chichester Festival Theatre for a relaxed workshop interview on the afternoon of Tuesday 1 April 2025.  

Successful applicants will be added to the LEAP practitioner pool and will be considered for suitability on a project or termly basis.
