Did you know that Chichester Festival Theatre is home to so much more than the shows on our stages? We’re a hive of activity year-round, working with young people and adults across the community. And this year is a pretty special one for us, as we’re celebrating 40 years of our Youth Theatre!

We know that young people today are growing up with limited creative opportunities in and out of school. But being creative is so important for building confidence and learning transferrable skills. That’s where youth theatre comes in! Every week we run 42 sessions exploring drama, singing, stagecraft, and technical skills for young people aged 5 – 25, at CFT and across seven locations in West Sussex and Hampshire. Participants receive the very best training, whether they’re pursuing a career in the industry or taking the transferrable skills with them whatever path they choose.

Performing in a CFYT show is such a special experience. It gives you lots of support and you make so many incredible friend
