Every year, a talented cast of Chichester Festival Youth Theatre (CFYT) members take over the Festival Theatre and treat you to a magical festive spectacular. They shared why they are absolutely loving being part of this year's show...

I love CFYT because you get to make new friends and have amazing opportunities. Being part of the Cinderella cast is like being part of one big family. I have so many good memories on the CFYT stage.

CFYT to me is one big, loving family where no matter who you are, or where you come from, you are made to feel welcome. Having the amazing opportunity to be part of the Christmas shows has really boosted my confidence and helped me to express who I am.

As this is my first show here, I only knew a handful of people, but because everyone was so kind it wasn’t difficult to make new friends.

Performing in a CFYT show is such a special experience. It gives you lots of support and you make so many incredible friends.

It’s a home away from home. Being able to do what I love with people that I love and creating a show that we are all truly proud to be a part of.
