Looking for a roarsome family adventure this half term? Then don’t miss Dinosaur World Live - a fun, entertaining and mind-expanding Jurassic adventure, live on stage. Meet a host of impressive creatures including the Tyrannosaurus Rex, a Triceratops and Segnosaurus among others. And stay after the show when all brave explorers have a chance to meet and greet a new dinosaur friend. Book now before tickets become extinct!
If you're looking for something gentler, The Littlest Yak will delight audiences young and old with beautiful puppets, catchy tunes in an uplifting musical tale of self-acceptance for all the family. You'll meet Gertie, who has the curliest, whirliest wool and the grippiest of hooves for clip-clopping up cliffs. Only, Gertie doesn’t want to be the littlest. She’s in a rush to grow up and be just like the big yaks. But what if there are some things that only a Gertie can do? A gorgeous story celebrating you being perfect… just the way you are!
There's also a Family Friendly Backstage Tour, on 21 February at 4pm, perfect for 7–11 year-olds, who want to explore our backstage spaces. You'll come away with oodles of fantastic facts, step behind the scenes, get hands-on with props and try on costumes - lots of fun.
You can enjoy our free family spaces (available all the time under the stairs and usually popping up on Thursday and Saturday mornings). This space is handily in arms-reach of the Café on the Park (open from 9am Monday - Saturday).
And in term time, we have fun sessions for little ones on Tuesdays and Wednesdays with Mini Makers & Shakers and Thursdays with Little Notestoo.
