We've pulled together a list of top tips and ways to save to help you plan your Festival 2024 experience.

Enhancing your experience

We’ve looked at which seats are most popular with our audiences (for different genres) and the prices that audiences book the most. We’ve used this to give you the best experience when you see a show at CFT and get closer to the action. This means not all sections of the auditorium will be on sale when we open for bookings. Tickets will be released as demand increases, so seating plans and pricing will adjust throughout the season.

Choose the right ticket type

When booking online make sure you select the right ticket type to take advantage of concessions or offers available. Only one discount applies to any ticket so if you’re wanting to use your Friends discount, or Season Saver select ‘Full price ticket’.

New Season Saver offers

We love that so many of you enjoy coming to see multiple shows each year, so we’ve introduced more generous multi-buy offers. Season Saver discounts apply to full price tickets, when you book the same number of tickets (up to four per production or two per production for Prologue tickets) for three or more shows.

Friends Season Saver - available to Friends until 9 March

• Book for 4+ shows get 20% off full price tickets
• Book for 6+ shows get 25% off full price tickets

General Season Saver - available to anyone throughout the Festival season

• Book for 3+ shows get 10% off full price tickets

Prologue Season Saver - available on £5 tickets to Prologue members until 9 March

• Book for 3+ shows and get one free

All Season Saver tickets must be booked and paid for in a single transaction. Season Saver excludes Previews, Press Nights, Relaxed or Dementia Friendly Performances, the CFT Summer Gala, Cinderella and Hey! Christmas Tree.

Prologue Season Saver only available on £5 Prologue tickets

Book early!

The cheapest seats go quickly, certain performances are very popular and ticket prices are subject to change – so please do get in early to book the seats you want! On-sale prices are guaranteed until Saturday 9 March and are then subject to change.

Tickets still start at £10 for all productions

We’ve kept our starting ticket price at £10 and we’ve increased the number of seats in the middle price bands - so where you may have previously been sat in Band A you might now be paying less!

Other discounts and tickets

Bring the family - Get half-price tickets for up to four Under 16s with every full price paying adult (excludes Saturday evenings)

Group discounts - Bringing all your friends or organising a coach trip? We’ve got a range of group discounts available for groups available Mon - Fri, see the 'Prices & info' tab on the relevant show page for more details.

School and College Groups of 10+ - £10 tickets plus one free teacher ticket (Mon - Fri)

Access discount - If you’re able and happy to provide proof of disability, you’ll be eligible for a 50% discount for you and an essential companion if you require one. Sign up to our Access List for free on this page and we’ll provide you with a booking and visitor experience tailored to your needs.

Aged 16 - 30? If you're under 30, sign up for free and access £5 seats for all productions and most events in our season.

All discounts

Apply to the top three prices in the Festival Theatre, and top two prices in the Minerva Theatre, excluding Previews, Press Nights, Relaxed Performances and Dementia Friendly Performances. Only one reduction applies per ticket, all discounts are subject to availability and at the discretion of the Box Office.
