About Get Singing! - Term 1 2024/25
Working with Musical Director Heather Uden, participants will learn practical techniques and experience the benefits of singing with a group. No prior experience necessary, all are welcome.
When and where do sessions take place?
Get Singing! takes place in the Steven Pimlott Building - the wooden building closest to the Broyle Road site entrance - at CFT.
Sessions take place on Mondays from 10 - 11.30am on the following dates:
2, 9, 16, 23, 30 September
14, 21, 28 October (No session on Monday 7 October)
4, 11 November
Cost and Bursaries
£100 per person, per term. Book all four terms for the year in the same transaction for a discount price of £360.

If you'd like to join Get Into It! but term has already begun then drop us an email, as long as we have space you can join a group up until half term.
About our practitioner
Heather Uden is a classically trained musician and experienced musical director, vocal coach and composer. Heather has been a singer all her life and has a wide-ranging performance experience which encompasses opera, concert solos, musical theatre and as a singer in the leading chamber choir, the William Byrd Singers in Manchester, under the direction of Stephen Wilkinson MBE. Heather has enjoyed being a musical director in the local area for both choirs and theatre, including the Portsmouth Military Wives Choir, Cantrelle Singers, Titchfield Community Choir, The Kings Arts Academy (Youth) at the Kings Theatre, and Groundlings Theatre. She has conducted choirs for events such as D Day 75, Portsmouth, Highclere Christmas, Highclere Castle, and Lord Mayor’s Charity Concert, Guildhall, Portsmouth, Southwick Revival Weekend, Southwick, and events celebrating Queen Elizabeth’s Platinum Jubilee in 2022.
Heather particularly enjoys working with choirs to develop their skills in singing, to help grow vocal and musical confidence and to build a community of singers who enjoy making music together.
