Our Prop Store is a vast treasure trove of furniture and artefacts. When our shows end, many of the props are cleaned, repaired and stored – and they’re all available to hire, whether for theatrical productions or personal projects.

Thousands of items, from vintage typewriters to tennis racquets, and art deco picture frames to antique tea sets, are carefully maintained and catalogued at our spacious and secure facilities in central Chichester.

  • A variety of items including a black SMEG fridge, two vintage stoves, a piebald rocking horse, wooden barrels and baskets of artificial flowers are piled on and beside high wooden shelves
  • A multitude of different chairs - wooden, cane, leather, mostly antique or period - are lined up in a large open space. Above them, an assortment of glass and brass chandeliers and candelabras are suspended from hooks and poles on the ceiling
  • Clear plastic crates filled with artificial fruit, bread and pastry, cakes and sweets, and platters of artificial food including roast chicken, canapes and pork pies, and jars filled with fake pickle and jams
  • An assortment of vintage telephones, from Victorian candlestick-style to black and cream Bakelite rotary designs
  • Two black antique busts, blue and white vases, baskets of artificial flowers, wooden trolleys and bicycles are among the items piled high on and next to wooden shelves
  • Several sets of golf clubs in brown leather and canvas bags, collections of vintage tennis rackets, croquet mallets and fishing nets stored in white plastic bins
